Custom Certificates Made Quick And Easy With Lambda Learn

Completion certificates can help build engagement and motivation for learners as well as mark the completion of a course. With Lambda Learn, you can pull together a completion certificate very quickly. Read now!

Receiving a certificate of completion is often the motivation a learner needs to complete a course.  By receiving a certificate of completion, the learner is not only rewarded for their hard work, but now also has a record of learning that they can take onwards to help build their career.

With Lambda Learn, you can either create a custom certificate with your own branding, which can take a little time to pull together, or you can offer a simpler certificate that you can set up in just a few minutes.

For those of you looking for a quick and easy certificate to add to your courses, here’s how you can create a certificate in three easy steps:

Adding a certificate to your course:

  1. Select the Certificate module from the +Add an Activity or Resource panel

  2. Give your certificate a name, then fill out the specific certificate options, like Issue,Text, and Design options, for example:

    1. Notify teachers of certificates issued

    2. Date format

    3. Include the Grade or Credit hours

    4. Print the teacher’s name

    5. Type of border

  3. Set a restriction against the certificate (optional)
You can lock the certificate against the completion of prior activities, such as a quiz, grade achieved, time in the courses, or a combination thereof
