Additionally, if you're looking to expand your company with remote workers, getting an LMS that supports global usage is in your best interests.

3. Your LMS provider is difficult to work with

Whether it's overpricing their product or providing you with poor support, having an LMS provider that's difficult to work with can be a huge detriment for your company. In today's digital age, most LMS' offer demos and rental options.

As such, there's simply no reason to stick with an underperforming LMS provider if you can help it.

4. Your LMS is either too complicated or too simple for your needs

While it may sound contradictory, different LMS' will work for different companies. For example, if you only use your LMS for some simple, routine training exercises that also have practical application elements, having a fully featured LMS may not be necessary. On the other hand, if your LMS plays an integral role not only in employee training but also in work management and completion, you'll want something capable of providing you with significant power and flexibility.

5. Your LMS' software capabilities aren't cutting it

This can apply to both your LMS' data collection abilities, as well as its UX/UI. In a world of big data, there's simply no reason not to invest in an LMS capable of letting you accurately see how employees and learners are performing.

Similarly, there's no reason to stick with an LMS that has a confusing or overwrought UI/UX - with the LMS market as crowded as it is currently, competition is fierce and as a result, you will undoubtedly be able to find multiple LMS' capable of meeting your needs while giving you both incredible software capabilities and UI/UX designs.
