AMS integration and member pricing

Your AMS decides who someone is. Your LMS should act on it

Two-way sync with iMIS, Fonteva, Nimble AMS, YourMembership, MemberClicks and Personify keeps membership status, member type and chapter affiliation driving pricing, enrolment and reporting.

01 · What happens now

Two member databases, one of them always slightly wrong

The AMS is the system of record until someone tries to buy a course, and then the LMS quietly becomes one too.

A second member database

Learner accounts are created and maintained in the LMS, so member type and chapter affiliation exist in two places and drift apart.

Status changes that arrive late

A join, a lapse or a chapter transfer takes effect in the AMS immediately and in the education program whenever the next sync runs.

Reconciliation as a monthly job

Someone owns a recurring task of comparing two exports, which is a cost the education program pays every month indefinitely.

02 · The cost

A monthly reconciliation is not an integration

If membership status has to be re-stated in the LMS to take effect, then the LMS is a second source of truth, whatever the architecture diagram says.

Everything downstream inherits that second version: pricing, enrolment eligibility, credentialing and the numbers that go to the board.

03 · What Lambda Learning does

One record, read and written back

The AMS stays the system of record. The education program reads from it and reports back to it.

Two-way membership sync

Membership status, member type and dues standing flow from the AMS into pricing, enrolment eligibility and reporting.

Chapter and section affiliation

Chapter, section and component membership carried through to pricing and to the reports your components ask for.

Write-back of results

Completions, credits and credential status written back to the AMS, so the member record shows education activity.

One reporting layer

Zoola reports across membership and education from the same record, without an export step between them.

04 · Proof

Tenure, not adjectives

Lambda Learning Inc. has built learning platforms since 2002. Association and credentialing bodies have run their education programs on them for over a decade.
